Optimized planning for a sustainable future

For years, RELEX has helped retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers reduce waste through forecast and inventory optimization.

Reducing our collective impact on the environment is at the core of our business

Food waste is a major environmental issue, responsible for 8-10% of yearly global greenhouse gas emissions. We are proud that our food retail and wholesale customers are typically able to cut their food waste by 10-40% through implementation of our platform. Across our entire food retail and grocery customer base, a conservative estimate of 15% reduction in food waste translates to a whopping reduction of 280 million kilograms of reduced food waste in 2023. This equals roughly 950,000 tons of CO2 equivalents.

We also want to practice what we preach – and we’re proud to say that from 2021 onwards we have been offsetting our yearly emissions through high-quality carbon offset projects.
