Our policies in relation to slavery and human trafficking
We are committed to ensuring no modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business, including employment practices and supply chains. RELEX has a Code of Conduct and Business Ethics that promotes honest and ethical conduct and respect for human rights. Each employee of RELEX must complete legal and ethical compliance training and pass an assessment to demonstrate their awareness. Everyone is encouraged to voice their concerns over any misconduct they suspect through RELEX’s whistleblowing channels.
RELEX Supplier Code of Conduct, approved by the RELEX Board of Directors, outlines our expectations for suppliers and partners concerning human rights, reflecting our zero-tolerance to modern slavery and any kind of child labour and exploitation of children and youth. The Supplier Code of Conduct includes principles on employment rights, hiring, health and safety, work environments, forced and child labour and equal opportunities. To date, we have experienced no breaches of the RELEX Supplier Code of Conduct related to modern slavery and human trafficking.
Our supply chain
RELEX’s supply chain mainly consists of suppliers and partners typical for software companies where the risks for human trafficking and modern slavery are lower than in many other industries. However, RELEX is committed to decreasing and managing the risks, even if they are smaller. We adhere to continuous improvement and development of internal compliance processes, including identifying and assessing potential risk areas in our supply chains and mitigating the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains.
RELEX manages the risks of human rights violations, among others, by implementing a due diligence program on its suppliers and partners. The program is continuously reviewed and developed when relevant development areas are recognized. RELEX makes sure its employees are hired in compliance with applicable local laws.
